
Last week, the team of the Charitable Fund “New Family”, together with its partners, took part in the study tour visit to Center “Compass” in Kharkiv. The study tour visit was conducted to explore the experience of cooperation with the partner’s network and involvement of partners in activities within the framework of “Bridging the Gaps: Health and Rights of Key Populations” project.
Al’ona Bezhan, project coordinator from Chernivtsi: “The study tour visit was very useful and informative, and most importantly, our partners who do a lot for adolescents with substance use experience took part in it“.
The representatives of the Patrol police from Chernivtsi
and from Kharkiv, the Juvenile Prevention Department of Patrol Police in the Chernivtsi region and in the Kharkiv region, etc. took part in the training. The Participants shared their best practices of cooperation with the partner’s network and involving partners in the activities within the framework of the project. Within three days, colleagues from two regions discussed the specifics of cooperation between agencies, ways to redirect clients, and also visited the Kharkiv Patrol Police Department, a remand house for underage children and the “Green Room” of the juvenile prevention sector.
Andrii Stadnik, deputy head of the Juvenile Prevention Department: “It’s very good that during the meeting we had the opportunity to discuss the real situations that happen in life, and could find a solution through discussions with specialists.”
As a result of the training, closer interaction was established between partner organisations, and joint preventive measures were planned.
