The NGO Coalition “Children’s Rights in Ukraine” recruit its numbers by the new organization – International Charitable Foundation “AIDS Foundation East-West” (AFEW-Ukraine).

The Coalition was formed in early 2012 to promote the children’s rights and to monitor the effective implementation of the General comments and recommendations provided by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Also, sharing of best practices in the field of children’s rights is one of the main tasks of the Coalition. The Coalition brought together public and international organizations and associations working on behalf of children in the territory of Ukraine. The Coalition is an effective communication platform for sharing experience and education in the field of protection of the children’s rights and an important agent of influence on decision-making in the field of children’s rights in Ukraine.

AFEW-Ukraine is honoured to be a part of the joint efforts to ensure the children’ rights and their interests within the Coalition “Children’s Rights in Ukraine”. We believe that our expertise and experience of work with most-at-risk adolescences, especially those who have substance use experience, and those who are in conflict with the law, will contribute to improving the competence and capacity building  of the Coalition and improvement of cooperation of governmental and non-governmental organizations on behalf of children in Ukraine.
