International Charitable Foundation “AIDS Foundation East-West” (AFEW-Ukraine) is seeking applications for the position of Project Manager to support and oversee the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the project

“Connected for Change: Strengthening Civil Society and Youth Advocacy Across Ukraine.” 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project implementation in accordance with the approved proposal;
• Manage the project budget in close cooperation with financial staff;
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate the project in cooperation with the MEAL Officer;

• Draft donor reports in line with agreed deadlines, in collaboration with the Executive Director, and ensure proper documentation and filing of all project-related materials, data sources, reports, and means of verification;
• Document project results, lessons learned, and experience gained in the specific implementation context;
• Contribute to publications on project experiences and results;

Experience and Qualifications

• University degree or higher vocational education; background in public health, social work, psychology, human rights, or a related field is desirable;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, including project development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation;
• Knowledge and experience related to youth, vulnerable groups, and associated social issues;
• Experience in budget holding and financial management;
• Proficiency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken);
• Proven ability to establish strong working relationships with colleagues from different organizations and cultural backgrounds.

• Strong communication, networking, presentation, and management skills;
• Good writing skills;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Confident computer skills, including work with text documents, presentations, and spreadsheets;
• Ability to travel to project regions, if required.

Contract Details

• Duration: 2 years, with potential extension
• Expected start date: 1 February 2026
