{"id":6774,"date":"2017-04-28T10:05:42","date_gmt":"2017-04-28T10:05:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/afew.org.ua\/?p=6774\/"},"modified":"2017-05-10T09:29:56","modified_gmt":"2017-05-10T09:29:56","slug":"call-tender-research-consultancy-services-rehabilitation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afew.org.ua\/en\/call-tender-research-consultancy-services-rehabilitation\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for tender for research consultancy services on rehabilitation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ICF \u201cAIDS Foundation East-West\u201d (<em>AFEW-Ukraine)<\/em> announces a\u00a0tender for consultancy services on rehabilitation\u00a0<strong>\u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Study on Drug treatment (rehabilitation including detox) for PWUDs in EECA region.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Objectives for the consultancy<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>To conduct comprehensive study on Drug treatment (rehabilitation including detox) for PWUDs in 6 countries of EECA: Ukraine, Georgia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is expected that the consultant will develop the research design and conduct the study in Ukraine, as well as coordinate the consultants in the other defined EECA countries and submit the final report based on the data received in all 6 counties. Together with the researchers in other countries the Research Consultant on Rehabilitation will provide an overview of the existing methods of rehabilitation in EECA countries and assess the quality of provided services though desk research, mapping of the regional situation with specific country cases, expert interviews and other relevant research methods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The key tasks of the study:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To collect exhaustive information on available rehabilitation methods and its legal regulations.<\/li>\n<li>To assess the quality of the rehab methods available and how it can be improved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The tasks of the Research Consultant on Rehabilitation include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing design of the research, (development\/review\/adjustment of the research methods and tools, including guides for expert interviews, questionnaire etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Conducting desk research in Ukraine (collecting and analyzing data on existing rehab standards, protocols, studies and other relevant publications), compiling data submitted by researchers from other project countries;<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of legal and regulatory framework related to rehabilitation and drug treatment, based on the data collected in Ukraine and other project countries;<\/li>\n<li>Mapping of existing rehab services and description of its models\/methods of rehabilitation used;<\/li>\n<li>Conducting interviews of experts;<\/li>\n<li>Data analyses and Reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Expected Activities \/ Deliverables \/ Timeframe<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Consultant is expected to implement the activities and produce the following by the suggested completion date.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 859px;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr style=\"height: 80px;\">\n<td style=\"width: 27px;
