We are looking for a person who is willing to develop and is ready to help in developing our programmes in Ukraine, and can potentially lead new projects and programme directions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Programmes Officer<\/strong>\u00a0will support the implementation of\u00a0\u00a0<em>AFEW-Ukraine\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0projects targeting\u00a0 populations most at risk to HIV, with specific focus on\u00a0 adolescents and young people. The position is based in Kyiv with travel to regions on request. This is a full-time position. A hybrid work schedule that combines on-premise and remote work will be offered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Works closely with the Project Manager on planning and implementation of the project activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains regular communication with project implementing partners in the regions of Ukraine.<\/li>\n<li>Supports project team in the monitoring of subgrantees, including regular collection of information, monitoring visits on request and supervising project database.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in program reporting and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the design and planning of new projects and programmes of\u00a0<em>AFEW-Ukraine<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience and Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University or higher vocational training. Public health, sociology, psychology, social work, or\u00a0 other related background is desirable;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years\u00a0 experience working with civil society organizations or in the related field;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in the field of HIV\/AIDS, public health, social and related issues;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Ukrainian and English;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Skills \/ Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
